Burglary Alert – Love Lane, York

North Yorkshire Police would like to make residents aware of a burglary that occurred overnight on Love Lane, York. Offenders gained entry to a garage during the early hours of 2 September 2026. Fortunately, nothing was stolen on this occasion.

This incident serves as a timely reminder to review your home and property security. Please ensure that garages, sheds, outbuildings, and vehicles are secure, and that any valuable items are stored out of sight where possible.

We would ask residents to remain vigilant and report any suspicious activity in the area.
